Kayak for a Cure™ Yukon 2010
Kayak for a Cure is excited to announce the 1st Annual Kayak for a Cure™ Yukon! Details for the northern most Kayak for a Cure event in history, are below:
- Date: June 13, 2010
- Location: Takhini River, Yukon Territory
- Length of Paddle: 2 hours on-water. Rotary Park boat launch to the Takhini River Bridge.
- Registration: Click here to register on-line or email us at mark@kayakforacure.org for more information.
- Cost: Each paddler sets a goal of $300 that goes 100% to the Canadian Cancer Society BC and Yukon Division. $25.00 CAD reserves your name on the list of 2010 paddlers.
- Local Registration Available: Visit our sponsor, Up North Adventures on May 1 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. to register in person and meet the organizing committee. $25.00 CAD reserves your name on the list of 2010 paddlers. $300 minimum fundraising goal, required.
- Kayaks: Please bring your own kayak or contact our 2010 kayak sponsor, Up North Adventures, for information on reserving your free rental for Kayak for a Cure Yukon 2010. Up North Adventures will provide pick up transportation at Takhini River Bridge at 3:00pm and 4:00pm.
- Post Event Celebration/BBQ: Robert Service Campground. Food and beverages provided.
