Kayak for a Cure’s™’ signature event promises to please all of your summer senses this summer as we hit the water at Jericho beach for the sixth year.  The 2011 event will take place on Sunday, August 28th outside the Ecomarine Ocean Kayak Centre on Jericho Beach. Registration kicks off at 8AM and launch will happen promptly at 9AM.  We’ll be supplying the music to get you pumped, Starbucks coffee to get you going, and breakfast and snacks to keep you paddling hard!

New to kayaking? No sweat. There will be certified ocean kayak staff members there to guide you and provide you with safety tips.

Join us afterwards for our beach party. Mix and mingle with your fellow kayakers and enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch.

More so than in years past, spots are limited due to demand and number of kayaks available.  If you’ve got your own kayak; bring it along!  For those of you who are new to this event, come and enjoy this fun day with great people, while lending your support to loved ones that have been affected by cancer.
