All funds raised through Kayak for a Cure™ Columbus are donated to Nationwide Children’s Center for Childhood Cancer whose mission is to expand the understanding of the pathogenesis of childhood cancer and to improve strategies for diagnosis and treatment.. Route Information
When/Where/What ? Kayak for a Cure™ Columbus will take place Saturday August 25th @ 8am. The event will be held in Columbus, OH at Genoa Park. We will launch at Genoa Park and paddle north of Confluence Park (approximately 1.5 miles), then return to Genoa Park. The paddle will take approximately 2 hours. No experience necessary (professional guides will provide instruction). Gear and kayaks will be provided for participants that do not have their own. Paddleboards, kayaks, and canoes are welcome. A light breakfast will be served prior to the paddle and lunch will be served following the paddle. Kayak For A Cure shirts will be presented to all participants who raise over $100.
