Kayak for a Cure™ held its first MidWest event while successfully reaching its fundraising goal of $10,000. Ken Murdock, Volunteer Lead for Kayak for a Cure™ Columbus and one of the original paddlers of the Kayak for a Cure™ events in Vancouver, British Columbia, was excited about this year’s success. “Kayak for a Cure™ is really something special to be a part of - the Columbus community really stepped up as our participant list grew longer, so did the amount of money that we were able to raise.” shared Ken, “We had fantastic weather, great people and, thanks to our sponsors and volunteer team, we’re looking forward to making this an annual success here in the buckeye state.”
